Our Rules: Terms of Service for The Early Exit Plan
These terms explain how you can use our services and what we expect from you, keeping things fair for everyone involved.
Alright, Listen Up: A Quick Introduction
Welcome to The Early Exit Plan! We're here to help folks like you in the UK get a clear path to financial independence and an early retirement. This document, our Terms of Service, is basically a plain-talking agreement between you and us. It sets out the rules for using our website and signing up for any of our mentoring programs.
By using our website at earlyexitplan.co.uk (or any related sites or services we offer), you're agreeing to these terms. It means you've read them, understood them, and you're happy to stick to them. If you're not on board with these rules, please don't use our services. It's as simple as that.
We're 'The Early Exit Plan', operated out of Liverpool, UK. When we say 'we', 'us', or 'our', that's who we're talking about. When we say 'you', that's you, our valued user or customer.
What We Do (Our Services)
We provide mentoring programs and step-by-step plans designed to help you understand and achieve Financial Independence, Retire Early (FIRE). Our goal is to give you the tools and knowledge to build passive income streams and take control of your financial future, so you can stop working sooner if you choose.
Our programs include, but aren't limited to, The Starter Guide, The Accelerated Exit, and The Full Freedom Plan. These programs offer practical guidance, educational materials, and support through various channels, like group sessions or one-to-one mentoring calls, depending on the plan you choose.
It's really important to understand that while we provide valuable guidance and strategies, we are NOT financial advisors, brokers, or tax professionals. We don't provide personalised financial advice. The information and strategies we share are for educational and informational purposes only. You should always consult with a qualified financial advisor, accountant, or legal professional for advice specific to your personal situation. Your financial decisions are your responsibility, and we're here to help you learn how to make informed ones, not to make them for you.
Your Bit (User Obligations)
To keep things running smoothly and fairly for everyone, we've got a few simple expectations from you:
- Be Honest: When you sign up for anything, make sure all the information you give us – like your name and email – is true, accurate, and complete.
- Be Old Enough: You need to be at least 18 years old to use our services.
- Keep it Safe: If you create an account with us, keep your login details private and secure. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account.
- No Sharing Our Stuff: The materials, plans, and content you get through our programs are for your personal use only. Please don't share them, copy them, or sell them to anyone else. We've worked hard on them!
- Play Nice: If you're part of our community forums or group sessions, be respectful to others. No spam, abusive language, or anything that could harm or annoy other users.
- Pay Up: If you've signed up for a paid program, you agree to pay the fees on time. We'll be clear about what you need to pay and when.
- Only for You: Our services are for your personal, non-commercial use. Don't use our programs or materials for any business or commercial purpose unless you've got our written permission.
Payments, Refunds, and Cancelling Your Plan
Our programs are generally offered on a subscription basis, either monthly or yearly, in Great British Pounds (£GBP). You'll find the specific pricing details on our website. By choosing a plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees.
Refunds: We want you to be happy with your Early Exit Plan. However, because you get immediate access to our valuable content and resources upon enrolment, we generally don't offer refunds once a program has started. If you have a specific issue or believe there's been a mistake, please get in touch with us at [email protected], and we'll see what we can do, keeping things fair for everyone.
Cancellations: You can cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, your access to the program will continue until the end of your current billing period (month or year). After that, your subscription won't renew, and you won't be charged again. Just follow the cancellation instructions provided within your account or contact us directly.
Our Stuff is Ours (Intellectual Property)
All the content on The Early Exit Plan website and within our programs – that means the text, videos, guides, templates, designs, and everything else – belongs to us or our licensors. It's protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws here in the UK and internationally. You get to use these materials to learn and plan your early exit, but you don't own them.
Think of it like buying a fantastic recipe book from a local shop in Liverpool; you own the book itself, and you can cook all the recipes, but you can't photocopy the whole book and sell it on, or claim you wrote it. Our materials are for your personal journey to FIRE, and you agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of our material without our express written consent.
Disclaimers and Where We Stand (Limitation of Liability)
We do our absolute best to provide useful, accurate, and practical information. However, we can't guarantee specific results. Everyone's situation is unique, and achieving financial independence depends on many factors, including your income, expenses, investment choices, and market conditions.
No Guarantees: We don't guarantee that you will achieve financial independence by a certain date, or that any specific investment strategy will work for you. Our guidance is general. It's up to you to apply the principles to your own life and consult with relevant professionals.
Website & Service Availability: While we aim for our website and services to be available and error-free, things happen. We don't guarantee that our site will always be available or free from bugs. We're not responsible for any downtime or technical issues that are beyond our reasonable control.
Our Responsibility: To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Early Exit Plan, Brenda Riley, and anyone connected to us, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; (c) any content obtained from the services; and (d) unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Our total liability for any claim under these terms will be limited to the amount you paid us for the services in the previous twelve (12) months. This is standard stuff to make sure we can keep doing what we do.
Ending Things (Termination)
You can stop using our services at any time by cancelling your subscription or simply stopping your use of our website. We'd be sad to see you go, but that's your choice.
We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services, without notice, if you breach any of these Terms of Service. For example, if you don't pay your fees, or if you share our confidential materials. If we terminate your account due to a breach of these terms, you will not be entitled to a refund for any unused portion of your subscription.
Even if access is terminated, certain sections of these terms – like those about intellectual property, disclaimers, and governing law – will still apply.
Changes to These Terms
We might need to update these terms from time to time. This could be due to changes in how we operate, new regulations, or to make things clearer. When we make big changes, we'll let you know by posting the updated terms on our website and changing the 'Effective Date' at the top of this page. We might also send you an email if it's a really significant change.
It's a good idea to check these terms periodically to stay in the loop. Your continued use of our services after any changes means you accept the new terms.
Bits and Bobs (General Terms)
Governing Law: These Terms of Service and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. This means that if there's a serious disagreement, the courts in England will be the ones to sort it out.
Entire Agreement: These terms, along with our Privacy Policy, make up the whole agreement between you and The Early Exit Plan regarding our services. They replace any prior agreements or understandings.
Contact Us: If you've got any questions about these Terms of Service, or anything else really, don't hesitate to get in touch. We're based in Liverpool and always happy to help.
